Our Core Values
Who we are and what we're committed to...
Jesus Christ – we are a Christian Church. The person of Jesus Christ is central to all we do and through Him we have relationship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
The Bible – we are Bible-based Church. We are committed to the Bible as the Word of God and our final authority for rule and practise.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit – we are a Spirit-filled Church. We believe that each Christian should develop the fruit of the Spirit and seek to use the gifts of the Spirit for the benefit of others. We believe in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.
Servant hood – we are a serving Church. Our goal is to see every member developing their God-given abilities and using them to serve others.
Worship – we are a worshipping Church. Our goal is to express our love and devotion for the Lord through passionate praise and worship.
Excellence - we are a ‘giving our best’ Church. Our goal is to give our best to the Lord in everything that we do as a Church.
Prayer - we are a praying Church. Our goal is to develop a culture in every age group in the Church, of dependency on the power of God through strong, consistent, faith-filled prayer.
Community - we are a relationship-based Church. Our goal is to see healthy meaningful relationships developed through the cell network where people feel loved and cared for. We want to develop a sense of community and family.
Outreach - we are an evangelistic Church. Our goal is to reach lost people both near and far and influence our community for righteousness through personal and cell evangelism, community outreach, missions and church planting.
Discipleship - we are a maturing Church. Our goal is to help people become strong believers and devoted followers of Jesus Christ through our discipleship group network. Our goal is the continual cycle of Win, Establish, Disciple, Send: WIN people to Christ, ESTABLISH them in the faith, DISCIPLE them as leaders, and SEND them to start their own open cell groups and then WIN people to Christ.
Loving relationships - we are a loving Church. Our goal is to see every person loved and cared for in such a way that they feel accepted, valued and have a sense of belonging. We want to develop a culture where people come before programs or tasks.
Transparent Leadership – we are a Church of integrity. Our goal is to be a Church full of people who value open transparent communication, honesty, integrity and accountability based on love and respect for one another.
Giving – we are a Generous Church. Our goal is to develop a culture of being distributors and sharers of the blessings of God, both as individuals and corporately as a Church.
Mobilization -we are an empowering Church. Our goal is to empower, train and release people who are passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission with their God-given gifts and abilities.
"We See..."
Written by Bram and Dianne in Nov 1998 at the very beginning of the church
- A strong, influential, contemporary church reaching into every facet of society;
- Faith-filled people who are radically committed to Jesus and His great commission, strong in the Word of God;
- Powerful church services with cutting-edge worship, a strong prophetic anointing, solid empowering bible teaching, and an incredible sense of the presence of God, where the miraculous is anticipated, through the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit;
- A place where people come into a life-changing personal relationship with God, and are transformed from living broken lives into becoming productive members of their community;
- Where young and old are strongly discipled and empowered in their gifts and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, ready to reach their community, their nation and their world;
- A strong sense of family, where people know they're loved, accepted and cared for and where sacrificial giving to each other and the community is the norm;
- A place where the role of the family as a fundamental unit of society is esteemed, family values are reinforced and family relationships are strengthened, built up and restored;
- A generation of mentors who are mobilised to think beyond themselves and who are passionate about imparting their wisdom to release the next generation to live in their God given potential;
- A new generation of young people, who are free to express and use their creativity, living a life full of purpose and passion for the cause of Christ;
- A church that is aggressive in missions and church planting;
- A place where prayer is second nature, hearing from God is expected, and dependency on God is absolute.
